I struggled with this too

I struggled with this too

The first rule for slimming down is being willing to invest in yourself.

I struggled to invest in myself in the past, too.

I have for decades wanted to speak Spanish. I lived in Los Angeles for 25 years where I heard Spanish on a daily basis and I wanted to be able to connect – but - I didn’t want to spend money on any training or resources. I wanted to figure out how to do things on my own, the cheapest way possible.

Oh the CDs (yes I tried for that long) the free apps, the books – I did this on and off for decades!

But do you know what the result of my penny-pinching was? I moved to Idaho after 25 years in LA and could comfortably ask “Done esta el bano”

You could go it alone.

There are free resources out there that can get you started.

But what you might not yet realize is that these free resources actually DO have a cost.

TIME.

It’ll take much longer to figure out the best way to do something when you have to wade through all the bad information to get to the good.

That creates OVERWHELM.

I don’t have to tell you that there’s a LOT of information out there! How do you find the right information quickly?

REPUTATION.

And RESULTS.

I have both.

And let me tell you, I’ve been exactly where you are right now.

I’ve been there.  I’ve made the mistakes, so you don’t have to.

After competing for decades, I only knew how to be ON a diet and how NOT to be on a diet

I was top 10 in the world in my sport and I was in shape maybe 3x a year.  I felt like a fraud.

I have spent the last 3 decades (yep I retired in 1996) dedicated to the study of body composition

Do you really have time to scroll through YouTube and podcasts, gathering information that you then have to cherry pick to suit you and put in order so that you have a progression to follow

You deserve to start now.

You’re worth the investment!

Oh what happened to my Spanish?

When I moved to Idaho, it was a fresh start for me and I took a little time to take stock of my life and one thing I really hate is when I “drop the ball” on something. When I start something meaningful and I don’t complete it. I have done this many times in my life, and it has really dented my self image over the years.

I spent the first 6 months finished the book I had been writing for FOUR YEARS

And I hired an online Spanish coach, who provided me with a curriculum to work through with video and text content and access to them for support and conversation

Ahora puedo hablar Espanol lo suficientements bien como para sobrevivir en una conversacion en Espanol. Todavia es deficil porque el idioma es rapido pero es divertido para mi.

The last part of that is the most important “It is fun for me”

With structure and support learning is not frustrating it is fun and inspiring

If this resonates with you my 6 Week Signature Weight Loss Program can do for you what my Spanish teacher has done for me

  • I did not “drop the ball”
